Models

Models are the actual providers of the intelligence. A model generally refers to both the type of model (such as GPT), the provider of the model (such as Azure), and the specific variant (such as ChatGPT-3.5). The models available on the Root Signals platform consist of:

  • Proprietary and hosted open source models accessible via API. These models can be either accessed via your own API key or via Root Signals platform key (with corresponding billing responsibilities).

  • Open-source models provided by Root Signals.

  • Models added by your organization. These models can be literally any language models that follow the typical interface requirements and can even run on your own laptop.

Organization admin can control the API keys and restrict to access to a certain subset of models.
